We are an open and inclusive team, and if you’re a passionate canyoner, we’d love to hear from you. There’s always room for people who want to make a difference and help grow canyoning as a sport and community.
Highlights from the Past Year
Bek and Ben coordinated our 2026 Photo Competition, which attracted many stunning entries showcasing the beauty of Australian canyons. Congratulations to the winners who shared in a $1000 worth of prizes.
Koala and wombat stickers (loving designed by Daniel Motyka), and canyoning whistles (produced by Ben Hofmann), joined our iconic platypus and kangaroo canyoning stickers as merch you can buy to decorate your helmet.
Julie, Henrick, Hayden and Alex led the charge running some great meet-ups including:
Alex, Henrick and Michal ran an awesome skills workshop packing in a long list of tips and techniques into one short day.
Keen canyoner Ryan Clark organised, on behalf of Canyoning Australia, a special screening of Find Mor canyoning film screening which sold out in only a few days. Great work Ryan!
The Canyon Fund has supported multiple projects with a significant investment made in Northern NSW canyons. Northern NSW is quickly becoming Australia’s next canyoning playground and we’re super excited to see canyoning on the rise outside of the Blue Mountains.
CE4Y, Bestard, Happy Biner and V7 Academy came on board as supporters of Canyoning Australia for 2026. Their support is amazing!
Work continues behind the scenes to obtain insurance so we can run events, workshops and trips… it’s been far more challenging than expected.
We deeply value the effort of the whole Canyoning Australia team. Much of the work happens behind the scenes and lacks glamour, yet the group’s dedication to the community is impressive.
