Bring your friends, make some new ones, go canyoning at the October 2026 Canyoning Australia meetup, 2026 at Glen Davis / Coorongooba from 3 - 5 October.
A Canyoning Australia meetup is a weekend for canyoners to turn up in one spot, meet old friends, make new ones and organise your own canyoning trips.
A meetup is for independent canyoners, who can look after themselves in a group canyoning trip. You organise your own food, gear, transport, mates, trips, ropes and so on.
The October 2026 event will be held at the Glen Davis campground in the village of Glen Davis, NSW. Please note this campsite is not the same as Coorongooba campground which is already booked out.
The main canyons near Glen Davis (Coorongooba campground), are Coin Slot, Freshwater Creek, Wowsers, Abandoned, Shinbone. You can also access the Newnes canyons (Starlight, Devils Pinch, Pipeline, Nightmare) from Glen Davis if you're up for a longer walk (approx 4.2km to the Pipeline Track pass).
Glen Davis / Coorongooba canyons are generally low/no flow (small trickle) with the occasional pool of water.

Trips
Canyoning Australia is not the provider of canyoning trips during the meet up.
It is the responsibility of meet up participants to organise their own trips. Canyoning Australia does not vouch for the capability of trip leaders or participants.
It is incumbent on the trip leader and participants to ensure they have the appropriate level of fitness, skills, equipment and experience for the canyoning trip your are participating in.

Canyoning Australia is NOT the organiser or provider of canyoning trips during a meetup.
We do not supply guides, equipment, or logistics.
We are not involved in planning, coordinating, or supervising the trips.
Participation in canyoning activities/trips is at your own discretion and risk.
Any information or resources provided by Canyoning Australia are for general educational purposes only and should not be construed as specific advice or an endorsement of self organised canyoning activities or its organisers.
