Canyoning in snow and ice

I'm going to be a little cheeky and share someone else's trip reports.

Some of you will know Felix, who has done plenty of canyons here in the Blue Mountains. He's currently living and working in Canada. He has not only found some spectacular local canyons, he's also put us all to shame by exploring them in winter. Some have even included ice climbing and the use of crampons (not exactly standard canyoning footwear).
