Outdoor clubs that run canyoning trips

Post by T2 » 25 Aug 2018, 15:49

For people who are starting out canyoning, wanting to improve their skills, seeking to build up their confidence with more advanced trips, or just want to meet a broader range of people to have canyoning adventures with, I thought it would be worth starting a thread listing the outdoor clubs / groups that run regular canyoning trips.

Below are a list of the main ones I am aware of that run regular canyoning trips in the Blue Mountains. It'd be great if people could add links or information about other groups, particularly from other parts of the country.

Brisbane Waters Outdoors Club (bwoc). Based on Central Coast but we travel all over. Run regular abseil practice days end of the month , except during canyon season. We go to Bluies, Wolgan, Barrington, Shoalhaven. We walk, we do snow trips.

We at the Northern Rivers Bushwalkers Club Inc have a full schedule of abseil/canyoning events and 58 abseiling members.
I would like to see our name listed.
